zorgman Posted March 20, 2011 Report Posted March 20, 2011 righty-o how good you reckon the mpg display is as on a run im up in the 6o's but tonight on cruise contro on a1m at 50mph it hit 71.6mpg so is it truth or lies, btw my speedo is deadly accurate checked by gps and it reads on the dot since fitting my 17's allys Quote

chucks4x4 Posted March 21, 2011 Report Posted March 21, 2011 Hi Zorgman.I hoped that they read low :unsure: Mine has shown a BEST of 28.5 on a run, 16.5 around town, & 13.8 towing. That's in the last 11 years we've owned her. Oh yes she's a 2.8 4X4. ;) Quote

chrispb123456 Posted March 21, 2011 Report Posted March 21, 2011 There will always be someone to better it and it certainly wont be me, I spend my working time restricted to 83 KPH or 52 MPH in my truck, so am not constantly seeing how good my MPG is.Just giving it some welly :) up to the legal limit naturally. On the point of comparing sat nav's with your speedo I have always found the sat nav to read slower than the car, about 2 MPH at 50 MPH Quote
